Short and sweet today. Really sweet. Pictured is my dessert. Flan with dulche de leche. Flan you may know as a custard-like dessert that is very popular in Spanish-speaking countries. Dulce de leche is the national spead/dessert filling/flavor of Argentina. In short (this is the short part), they eat it on everything. Like peanut butter, it’s on sandwiches, on toast in the morning, it’s a crepe filling, it’s a flavor on ice cream, etc. What is it? Carmel sauce. Why am I having such a sweet and obviously bad-for-me dessert? What are you my mother? I’m on vacation! OK, this is going to my mom, so she can complain to me if she wishes. The rest of you can put a sock in it. I recommend some dulce de leche on said sock…
